Conference Description
This conference addresses approaches to engagement between the United States and Cuba by examining the transitions taking place in the current relationship and within Cuba and by seeking to strengthen understanding of these transitions by relevant communities of American national interests. Specific issues addressed will include the transition in American policy toward Cuba, within Cuba, and within the Cuban Diaspora; the economic, political, academic, developmental, nongovernmental, scientific, and other bases for engagement with Cuba; and the role that these communities may have in approaches to engagement with Cuba over the next several years and beyond.
